How is GhostPost.us different from a scraper?

Gathering public information is only the starting point. GhostPost.us organizes what was visible into a dated evidence record, compares observations, documents differences, and preserves digital fingerprints so saved evidence can be checked for alteration. Watch continues observation within the purchased scope and emails you when changes are detected. Missing access is never treated as proof that a posting disappeared.

What is a SHA-256 fingerprint?

It is a digital fingerprint of exactly what we saw. If even one character of the saved record changed later, the fingerprint would no longer match. It lets anyone confirm the record has not been altered since we saved it.

Can the record support chain of custody?

Each record keeps where it came from, when we saw it, and its fingerprint, and records are never edited after they are saved. Your counsel decides how to use it in any legal matter; GhostPost.us does not give legal advice.

What is GhostPost.us?

GhostPost.us is an outside-in observation and evidence layer for the public job information ecosystem. It reads the public job sources it is configured and technically able to observe, and records what each one displayed, where, and when.

How is this different from our applicant tracking or syndication system?

Those systems are inside-out: they record what your organization created, approved, distributed, or withdrew. GhostPost.us is outside-in: it records what a configured public source actually displayed at a specific time, separate from your internal account of events.

Does GhostPost.us see the entire internet?

No. GhostPost.us observes the sources it is configured and technically able to observe. Coverage is stated explicitly, and any source that could not be read is recorded as unread.

What are the evidence states?

Six, defined identically everywhere: Observed, Stated absent, Can't determine, Source unread / unavailable, No requirement record identified, and Unverified. An unread source is never treated as an absence, and no requirement record identified never means compliant or no requirement exists. Does GhostPost.us tell us whether we are compliant?

No. GhostPost.us does not determine compliance, decide whether a requirement applies, declare violations, or provide legal advice. It surfaces requirement records with citations and sources so qualified professionals can assess applicability.

Does GhostPost.us score organizations?

No. There is no composite score, no 0–100 rating, no letter grade, and no ranking anywhere in the product.

Does GhostPost.us remove postings or send takedown demands?

No. GhostPost.us never executes remediation, assigns owners, tracks resolution, or runs a cure clock. It delivers the record; the systems and professionals an organization already relies on decide what happens next.

What does THE LENS™ change?

The perspective, not the facts. The same evidence is surfaced differently for an employer, a staffing firm, a compliance team, or a government reviewer. The underlying observations are identical in every reading.

How does scheduled observation work?

GhostPost.us re-reads watched public sources on a schedule and records each attempt and its outcome. Prior observations are never rewritten, and a failed read is never converted into a disappearance.

Can our existing compliance, HR, or legal platform consume the record?

Yes. Secure, read-only access to your own records exposes company records, observation history, source coverage, what changed, and requirement readings. Reading the record never changes it.

Who is GhostPost.us for?

Compliance, legal and policy teams; employers and talent operations; government, regulators and public agencies; and staffing and recruiting firms.

Is there an experience for individuals?

Yes. GhostPost.us for Individuals — Scan to Understand — reads a single job posting from an individual perspective, under the same evidence rules. It is a separate experience from GhostPost.us for Organizations; the two are not merged.

What exactly does GhostPost.us refuse to do?

It does not determine compliance, decide whether a law or requirement applies, declare a violation or liability, give legal advice, assign guilt or intent, label a posting a ghost job, assign severity or risk, produce a score of any kind, assign or track remediation, remove postings, send takedown demands, or run notice-to-cure clocks.

Why does early detection matter?

Some jurisdictions provide a period to correct a covered public posting after written notice before further action can proceed. Any such period begins when someone notices — so the sooner an organization sees what became publicly visible, the more options it has. GhostPost.us shortens the distance between something appearing publicly and your team knowing about it. It does not run notice-to-cure clocks and does not decide whether anything needs correcting.

Do you publish a map of where these requirements exist?

Yes. The requirement map covers all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, U.S. local requirements reviewed to date, every Canadian province and territory, and both federal jurisdictions. Each entry states what its cited source says, the status of the requirement, and the date the entry was last verified. Where a source did not establish a detail, the entry says so rather than filling the gap.

Do you have case studies?

We publish Field Tests: GhostPost.us’s own observations of public job sources, run to demonstrate what outside-in observation records. They are not customer engagements, organizations are anonymized, and every figure comes from the observation record.

What does GhostPost.us cost?

Pricing depends on the sources and organizations in scope, so we discuss it directly rather than publishing a fixed price.
