Why independence matters

An organization's own systems record the organization's own account of events.

• GhostPost observes from outside, so the record does not originate with the party it concerns.
• A source that could not be read is recorded as unread. It is never converted into a disappearance.
• Scheduled re-observation runs continuously and does not alter or reinterpret prior observations.
• The record is non-judgmental by construction, so no reader has to unwind an embedded conclusion.

Interoperability, not replacement
